DENR and HCPTI Joint Tree-Planting Program for a Cleaner, Greener Port

Natural Resources – National Capital Region (DENR) lead their executives in the planting of
200 seedlings of botong, talisay and bitaong trees at the Harbour Centre Port Terminal, Inc.
(HCPTI). The tree-planting activity is part of HCPTI’s comprehensive environment program to
make this world-class and ISO-certified port even cleaner and greener. The program has
gained the support of the DENR, which is implementing a national greening program. HCPTI
is a modern international private port complex at Road 10 in Vitas, Tondo. Flanking Andin
